Create,
Explore, Ponder, Flow, Learn, Fun
I
went to art school, way back when, in Boston and New York
City. It was wonderful. I continue explore art; photography,
ceramics, drawing....
Art
is part of who I am. The challenge is to be an artist and
be financially successful. I seek to develop a balance between
the person who needs to earn a living and the self who want
to dive into creation. It is an ongoing learning experience.

Expressions
of animal personality are created through a combination
of a love of pets, photography and digital sketching |
| |
I
am intrigued by portraits. Who are we? Who is the person
behind the image? What can an artist or photographer communicate.
What does a two dimensional image tell us? |
| |
Kids
are wonderful, magical, funny, open, bigger than life,
so filled with life. What really goes on behind those
eyes? |
| |
I
collect old portraits. What is the story behind the photograph?
Will our special pictures be stuck in some attic or sold
in a flea market 100 years from now? Who will remember? |
| |
Flowers,
close-up, rich colors, infinite shapes, beauty. |
| |
Details,
colors and textures. Stuff, neat, old, interesting stuff. |
 |
And
then there is the drawing, experimenting, having fun,
trying new things. Sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Such is life. |
